5. Do something productive that will get your mind off why you are sad. Read a book, go outside, sunshine is proven to make you happier, hang out with a friend, even do homework, it will make you happy so you can get on with your life and forget.
4. Do something boring. Watch a movie, watch TV, read a book. Do something to get your mind off why you are sad. if you are really sad and want to cry watch a sad movie like P.S. I Love You, Titanic, The Notebook, The Cure, Beaches, My Girl, A Walk to Remember, Of Mice and Men, and The Pursuit of Happiness. If you want to see a feel good movie watch Forest Gump, Billy Elliot, Juno, The Kite Runner, Remember the Titans, Life is Beautiful, but it is really sad so watch out.
2. Find some comfort food. Whether its your favorite food, or Ben and Jerry's ice cream, comfort food is wonderful. Chocolate and peanut butter is my favorite comfort food. It always make you feel better when you stuff your face with your favorite Ben and Jerry's ice cream flavor. Here is one good comfort food recipe for the chocolate and peanut butter lovers.
1. Melt a bag of chocolate chips 2. Add a little milk to the chocolate 3. Add a few spoonfuls of peanut butter 4. Make the wonderful chocolate and peanut butter mixture into balls and roll it in powdered sugar so it stays in a ball. 5. Frezz it for like 15 min but you dont want it to frozen because then it will not taste good.
Vent. If you are having a bad day and need to vent, call a trusted friend, write it down, or talk to a family member and just cry it out. They will understand and will be happy to help. Be sure you call an understanding friend that is good at cheering you up. Don't call a self-absorbed friend or someone that cant handle crying. You will feel way better after a good talk with a wonderful friend or beloved family member.
